This moment stands as a powerful testament to the resilience, presence, and contributions of Muslims communities across Florida, especially ours here in South Florida where diversity and unity go hand in hand.
CAIR Florida’s leadership in making this recognition a reality cannot be overstated. Through consistent civic engagement, coalition-building, and community education, they brought together elected officials and community voices to spotlight the rich heritage of Muslim Americans. Their work is a reminder that change is possible when we speak up, organize, and show up for one another.
