On Saturday, July 19th, South Florida witnessed something truly special — our third successful matrimonial event, rooted in sincerity, privacy, and trust in Allah.
Hosted at Nur Ul Islam Islamic Center, the event brought together Muslim singles who weren’t just looking to meet — but looking to marry, with the right intentions and a strong foundation.
Alhamdulillah, with the leadership of Half Our Deen and their unique, faith-based approach — including their proprietary matchmaking app — attendees experienced a process designed to support not just matching, but meaningful marriages. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Participants shared that the experience felt focused, intentional, and deeply aligned with their values.
The event featured engaging group discussions and interactive activities like “Split the Sea,” which helped explore agreement and disagreement on important topics. Team-based challenges encouraged participants to discover communication styles, values, and compatibility in a natural and comfortable setting. These weren’t surface-level icebreakers — they sparked honest, marriage-minded conversations.
Alhamdulillah, more than half of the attendees left with potential matches — a reflection of both the sincerity of the participants and the thoughtful design of the program. Islamic values like privacy, sincerity, and tawakkul weren’t just themes — they were practically woven into every part of the experience.
Many attendees praised the event’s organization and depth. Some even noted that they had attended Half Our Deen events in other cities — and this was the best they had ever experienced.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who participated with clarity, humility, and trust in Allah’s plan. Events like this are a powerful reminder: seeking marriage is not about rushing — it’s about taking the right step, in the right space, with the right intention.
