The South Florida Council of Imams, Interfaith leaders, Partners pronouncement on Racism (PRESS COVERAGE)

PRESS CONFERENCE BY SOUTH FLORIDA COUNCIL OF IMAMS , INTERFAITH LEADERS, and CIVIC PARTNERS:

(FT LAUDERDALE June 18th, 2020) SFL Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Leaders renewed their commitment to fight racism, discrimination, and bigotry in all its forms. 18 South Florida Imams have all signed a joint statement, and on June 18th at the African American Research Library, 5 Imams joined leaders from other faiths to speak for Humans rights, and take a clear stand against anti-black racism. Other esteemed speakers included Senator Dwight Bullard, Pastor Gaston Smith, Rev. Norman Hemming, Ed Wujiciak (Jewish Voice for Peace), and Ms. Camila from Florida Immigrant Coalition.
