SFL Muslim Federation members met on Nov 11, 2023 at Nurul Islam to discuss the deteriorating situation in Gaza and condemn the killing of civilian population in the strip. On the basis of the swiftly rising death toll in Gaza, and the right-wing Israeli Government not heeding the global calls for ceasefire, the members of the Federation felt it is morally and Islamically right to hold a strong position in this regard.
Therefore, the following resolution was unanimously passed:
‘ We support the cause for justice in Palestine and those working for non-violent actions to promote a ceasefire and an end to the potential genocide.’
