Multifaith leaders in South Florida held a press conference to address the neglect shown to loss of innocent Palestinian lives over the past few weeks and call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The press conference was led by Imam Abdullah Jaber, Executive Director of CAIR-FL, Samir Kakli, President of SFL Muslim Federation and Corey Shearer of Emgage FL. Donna Nevel of Jewish Voices for Peace, South Florida Chapter also spoke at the occasion. She termed Israeli military air strikes a catastrophe and called for the world leaders to put an end to it in order to protect lives of Gazans.
